Panasonic 'eco ideas' Declaration
On June 5th 2009, our Managing Director, Mr. Ikuo Miyamoto, made the following 'eco ideas' declaration
for Panasonic in the Asia Pacific region:
Spreading 'eco ideas' through strong partnerships with key external stakeholders to raise public awareness through organising events such as 'eco ideas' experience road shows in the region.
240,000 tons reduction* in total CO2 emissions over three years from April 2007 to March 2010 with improved productivity through the development of 'eco ideas' factories to promote clean production.
80% of total sales by year 2012 contributed by eco products with leading energy and water efficiency and long lasting technology.
