LUMIX DMC-FP3
3.0-inch Intelligent LCD adjusts the brightness of the LCD backlight to the surrounding brightness. With the FP3, you can choose the AF area by simply touching it on the LCD before pressing the shutter button. When iA mode is turned on, the camera will also select the optimal Scene mode for the area you've touched. And Touch-Scroll Playback lets you check recorded images in order by simply sliding your finger over the playback image.
This remarkable flat body and slim 1.64-cm (excluding protrusions) profile was made possible by a newly developed foldable lens unit. The wide range of body colors also adds more attractive, more stylish photo fun. And the lens doesn't even protrude when using the 4x optical zoom.
Just press the iA button, and leave everything else to the camera. Six detection and correction functions, including Face Detection AF/AE, are automatically activated as needed, to give you beautiful shots every time.
The DMC-FP3 is equipped with a 4x optical zoom lens (35mm camera equivalent: 35-140mm). The Extra Optical Zoom function*1 uses the center part of the CCD to extend this 4x zoom ratio to powerful 8.4x zoom (35mm camera equivalent: 295mm) at a resolution of 3-megapixel or less. Adding the Extra Optical Zoom to the 4x digital zoom*2 extends the total zooming power to a maximum of 33.8x.

The DMC-FP3 features a 1/2.33-inch CCD with effective 14.1-megapixel high-resolution.
